National Foundation For Transplants:Chad Freckleton's Story
Chad and his wife, Marcie, had just graduated from college when he first experienced health problems. His abdomen began to swell, and he was admitted to the hospital for a series of tests. In July 2005, Chad was diagnosed with cryptogenic (unknown origin) cirrhosis of the liver. The same month Chad was diagnosed, he and his wife found out they were expecting their first child. Doctors said a liver transplant was his only hope for a second chance at life. Thankfully, Chad received his lifesaving transplant in July 2009 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. Despite his struggles, 29-year-old Chad has high hopes for the future. He looks forward to recovering from his transplant and having the energy to enjoy time with his family and friends. He and his wife would like nothing more than to grow old together and watch their young daughter grow up. But they need your help.Click here to read their entire story and how to donate: http://www.transplants.org/donate/chadfreckleton
Steve and Nikki Gutierrez's Story
Steve and Nikki had been married for less than two months when Steve was in a tragic motorcycle accident. Through many miracles, his life was saved, but his injuries are life-changing nonetheless. His right arm was severely damaged. So much so, that he will never have full use of it again. This along with a host of other injuries ranging in severity from minor to possibly life-threatening, will require extensive therapy and surgeries that Steve and Nikki are ill-equipped to handle financially. They need your help.Click here to read their full story and learn how to donate: http://helpsteveandnikki.com
